Every Sunday we have visited all the preacher talks about is himself and how great he is. We have heard way too much about how awesome his ministry in West Virginia was and how amazing he was building that church from 200 to 700 people. How he worked at the appalation power company on the Ohio river. We don't care!!!!! It would be nice to hear some examples from the bible. Or some examples that don't involve his personal life. Maybe Pastor Norris needs to study harder- I'm not sure. When he acts like he never does anything wrong it's a major turnoff. None of us are perfect. Everything else at Franklin Road is good the music, the children's programs and the people there, but the Pastor never feeds my spiritual life.
We love Franklin Road Baptist Church. We have four children, two of which are in college locally. The young singles class offers practical teaching that applies to their daily life. There are also many activities to be involved in that promote a closeness between their peers. Pastor Norris frequently reminds our church family that the young adults, teens, and children are not only our future church - but our church now. You can tell that he loves the younger generation and has a desire to teach them to have a personal relationship with God. Regardless of your age or marital status, there are many age appropriate classes and ministries to be involved in. It's a great place to worship.
FRBC, the pastor and staff of this great church are nothing short of loving and kind to everyone. Pastor and his wife have always taken the time to make our family feel welcomed and accepted; a curtesy that I have often seen him extend to all people. We miss this church as we have moved away now, but I would highly recommend that you visit this church and let God speak to your heart through true biblical preaching.
Franklin Road is amazing! The preaching is solid and Biblical. Everything is done to a high quality. We just had VBS, and the attention to detail was amazing. My kids were so excited to attend every day. The program was well-run, even down to checking the kids in and out with an iPad-based system. There are so many ministries and activities for every age group. We hate to miss out when we get sick and can't come.
