Wonderful experience with Discount Electrical Service. I had someone else start the job that really messed it up. I called DES on a Monday, on Tuesday they had Ron here looking at things and giving me a bid. On Thursday and Friday of that same week they had a crew here correcting the other work that had been done. When it got drier, they had a 4 person crew here to finish the outdoor work in one day. Had the electrical work inspected and passed! If I ever need electrical work done again Discount Electrical Service is who I would call.
Everything was off to a good start. I called and spoke with Ron. He wanted to come out the day I called but I had to work so I set it up for the following day at 10 o clock in the morning since my problem was not major. He described to me I would get a text when they were in route and another text when they were in the driveway. He even told me what he thought was the problem. I got up early the next morning to make sure I was ready when they arrived. I had things I needed to take care if in the afternoon so this was going to work out perfect. 10 o clock came and went nothing from this company. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I waited patiently. At 11:30 after not hearing from anyone I placed a call to them. It went to voicemail so I left a message. I as of 9:30 pm this evening have still not heard from them. I called another electric company at 1:00 pm. They told me they probably could not get to me today but definitely could the following day and they would call me. Much to my surprise this other company showed up at 6:00 pm and took care of my problem professionally and timely and they did not charge an arm n leg. They have my business for all future needs. Customer Service goes a long way and people have very busy lives. A phone call would have been nice. I hate waiting on someone to show and not call or show up. Very unprofessional.
Great service and a great experience! Ron came out the same day I called to do an estimate and the job was taken care of the next day. We had tried calling a number of companies before Discount that would never even call us back. Quality work and service for a very reasonable price.
