I guess you pay for the name and not much quality. I will say the first time I went the same girl (that did my hair 2nd time too) did a great job so I'm leaving 2 stars.
The highlights were very brassy and very symmetrical. So because I'm an awkward duck, I thanked the girl while holding back tears, payed (a lot of money), tipped and set another appointment.
Unfortunately they were awful.
Very upset with this salon. Just moved here from up north. Have had our hair done by numerous Aveda salons from New York to Ohio. After paying $300. For a brilliant red for my daughter's hair, which faded completely out in one week...I was told that it was my daughters hair that was at fault. I was assured that they have never, ever had this problem before with their color and that my daughters hair was not healthy and that is why the color faded. I was told that I was to wait two weeks and maybe her hair would be healthy enough to take the coloring but they could not guarantee what it would look like. This is not the first time that she has had red color on her hair, but it is the first time that she has had it fade in less than one week. Not quite sure how you get away with blaming the customer for inadequate results. I have an appointment in another week to get my own hair done...not quite sure where this leaves me. Not even an "I'm Sorry!" Extremely disappointed!
Meh. I am happy to pay for a quality cut, however that is not what I received. I was scheduled with Amanda I showed her several pictures and trusted her to cut my hair. After she dried my hair I noticed that the layers were not even and the more I try to work with my hair the more o virus it is that I was given a great clips quality cut at an Aveda price.
Fantastic service and fabulous haircuts for my daughters! They look amazing!
The free services offered (hand massage, water, coffee, magazine, tablet) were interesting, but I really just wanted my first time getting highlights to go well.
I was charged $255 for a TRIM and a highlight update, apparently because my hair is thick. I was specific about my long and curly hair when I made the appointment, and each time I asked for clarification on price I was told that it would "just depend." I have gotten my hair done many times at aveda salon in other cities, and at much nicer salons, and never paid more than $100 for a full cut and full color. I was so embarrassed to be so shocked when I heard the price after my appointment was already over, and to have to hand over $255 for what I anticipated to be an affordable haircut by an actual professional, not a level 2 student. Will not be back.
