Stones River National battlefield park is well maintained with knowledgeable staff and rangers. A video about the 3 day battle fought here in deep winter is very good. Civil war items are on display and guided tours are given throughout the year. Civilian reinactors put on displays a few times a year to show what life was like during 1881-1885.
