After giving him several month to recover before re-entering the school/daycare environment, we placed him in a private elementary school our 3rd grader was attending thinking this school would be perfect now that he was pre-k age and had been wonderful for our older child. We were once again wrong. Our son was unable to receive the patience, understanding, age appropriate expectations and individual attention and love he needed after having such a traumatizing experience at his very first school.
After much investigating and searching, we settled on Murfreesboro Day School in hopes it would be the perfect balance between age appropriate learning and structure while having loving, experienced teachers that would meet our son where he was. We have been absolutely blown away!! Our son has now been in with this AMAZING school for a little over 3 months and he is FLOURISHING! Not only do we have our fun loving, sweet boy back, but he is learning SO much and you can tell he has gained so much confidence in himself because of how wonderful each of his teachers are. They LOVE him and every other child in the class. We have found that Murfreesboro Day School is surpassing anything we could have hoped for a school to be for our son. These teachers truly love children and take their jobs very seriously - they have the experience and love that is nearly lost in early childhood education.
If you want a place where your child will be safe and loved, this is the place! I was very sad to put my little one in a daycare but quickly saw that he was not just a number. He was treated like an individual and was given all the love and attention a baby needs. Whenever I checked in on him during the day using the special camera app, he was always engaged and interacting with his teachers (and peers!) . I am very particular when it comes to the care of my children. MDS exceeded my expectations!
I absolutely LOVEEE Murfreesboro Day School. All of the staff are SO kind and welcoming. I have LOVED getting to know the staff, the owners, and the other kids who attend the school. I was very nervous about dropping my 3 and a half month old at a day care at first, but now I LOVE to take her there. I see how much she is loved and cared for! I recommend Murfreesboro Day School to absolutely anyone who needs child care! They are FANTASTIC and a huge blessing in my family's life!
Owners are wonderful people. Very personable and really care about the kids. Daycare workers are amazing.They know my son like I know my son he's not just a number there. They show each of the kids individualized attention and treat them like their own. Great daycare and great people!!!
You could not go wrong entrusting this wonderful school with your child. We wish we could turn back time and place him here FIRST! Thank you Murfreesboro Day School for not only bringing back our son, but providing such an environment that allows a child to feel loved and grown in confidence in themselves because of it! **PS - Our son is a very picky eater. The food provided at Murfreesboro Day School is so good (and HEALTHY), he asks for 2nds and 3rds! So important for a growing boy (or girl)! AND he previously had so much trouble taking a nap in a school environment which we assumed was because he felt uncomfortable), but of course, at Murfreesboro Day School he sleeps so well for his naps!! **
Where to begin... Our (now 4YO son) had an absolutely terrible experience at his very first day school we placed him in (which is now shut down for good) right before turning 3. Even though we removed him as soon as we discovered the issues he was experiencing, our son was left hating and being very anxious when in any atmosphere similar to a school setting and also had issues with trusting adults he did not already know especially when they engaged in physical contact, even as simple as touching him on the shoulder.
One of the most professional and friendliest staff I've seen in a day school/care. The owners make you feel like family and you know your kids are in great hands every single day with their teachers.
