This place seems okay at first glance. It does. But it's NOT. I don't know how the teachers get away with half this stuff. From what I've heard, the 8A Social Studies teacher let someone running from the SRO inside. I, along with others, hate it here. The special education teachers call the kids "ignorant" and "stupid". When I tried to report this to a teacher, the teacher, Dr. Alexander said, "Well, are you sure the teacher didn't explain the concept 10 times?" Waving it off like that is not okay. Don't get me wrong, some teachers are good. But I HATED it here. The takeaway is DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.
I first started going here like 3 months ago. The teachers are so disrespectful to the students. There is only one teacher that I don’t hate but a lot of people hate her. They give you so many stupid rules like walk on one side of the hallway. I’m like I’ll walk where I want to walk. Don’t send your kids here this school is HELL... trust me.
The teachers are so overly cranky all the time. if you look at a teacher wrong you get ISS. This school is honestly hell and i don't recommend sending your kids here. There is a lot of fighting, and even if you get beat up you still go to jail. you can not fight back or defend yourself. Teachers are very unobservant and do not catch onto anything. Someone could trip you and a teacher say "oh i didn't see it". The food is plastic. And all they want is money so they have tons of fun raisers. The fun raiser is just walking around the school anyways. Even after all the money we donate I still see no improvement. Every teacher only looks at me and singles me out of the group that is being a raucous. At least i finally get to leave after this year. This school is a living HELL.
Well... there are no doubt amazing teachers here but you only meet them if you are in any sports etc, but don’t get me wrong there are also good teachers in classes as well but on the other hand there are TERRIBLE teachers in classes that will make you feel stupid, and uncomfortable, and they are very disrespectful and dishonest. I’m just mad I can’t put zero stars cause of the poor acts of the teachers at this school.
Ok im going here right now in 8th grade and the most stupid and dumb rule is the 6th grade can ONLY carry GREEN DRAWSTRING BAGS and the 7th grade can ONLY CARRY YELLOW DRAWSTRING BAGS and the 8th grade can only carry BLACK DRAWSTRING BAGS and its so dumb i was wearing a BLACK kavu im in 8th so it was the right color and its the same size as a drawstring bag and its organization is so much better than a drawstring bag and and the only reason they made this rule is they are trying to get you to buy the most crappy school brand drwstring bag ever it falls apart in two days and the worst part is that they are selling them for $5 and i was going to get written up for defiance for having it on bc i keep everything i need in there
