Went to the deli for a sandwich Nov 25th, the manager started making my order clearly annoyed, he was rude and barely spoke, took the first chance he could to pass me off to another employee without even saying anything to me and went back to his side task. The new one making my sub acted the same with the addition of being very sloppily and unprofessionally dressed. Publix is well known for higher standards, which is why I chose to get lunch there. But this was the worst experience I've ever had here. Everyone looked miserable, I never got a smile or friendly word, I felt like a huge inconvenience for them with a simple sandwich order. It's not even like they were busy, I was their only customer. Ridiculous customer service.
Great store with clean, well lit areas, friendly service and paper towels in the bathroom. I knocked a star off this time because my chicken tenders were tough or dried out. Also the Palmers Halloween candy was not good. Not really Publix fault but they might want to reconsider offering Palmers brand. While the milk chocolate was not as good as Hershey, my biggest issue was the poor mix of the four candy varieties in the bag.
It's different here. They're all polite. They all smile and offer a greeting or help finding an item. It's been several months ago, but I went there fairly early one morning to pick up some lactaid milk and something else I can't remember. By the time I had picked up the milk at the back of the store, four or five smiling associates had greeted me with "good morning". It wasn't just an automatic thing, they made eye contact with me and gave me a wide grin. I took note of it because it actually lifted my spirits. I'm not kidding. The positive human contact on that early morning sweetened my entire day. I should have written this sooner.
Sub par Publix experience today. Checker bunny actually got verbal with some other employees after items didn't ring up correctly. Apparently not the first time bunny has had issues. Other employees were helpful and courteous. I felt bad for them if she is prone to inappropriate behavior
This store is one of the best locations in Murfreesboro. I have been to all but one location here and this one is by far the friendliest. I have asthma and can't go down the laundry aisle, there is one young man who did it for me when my son was not with me. #Above&Beyond
