Good coffee. But why serve it only in to-go cups? Would taste so much better in a nice stone mug. And all that waste...
I have been to various coffee shops throughout Murfreesboro and Nashville and this was the worst experience I've had so far. There is a VERY distinct smell about this coffee shop that stuck with me for two days and made me VERY nautious. I even had to go as far as washing everything I had worn in to the coffee shop, including my shoes and backpack. If you're like me and have a sensitive stomach and get nauseous easily, please do not go here. I had to clean and refresh my dorm room after the smell had "soaked" into everything. The Iced Vanilla Coffee I ordered even had an after taste that resembled the smell. I also ordered a blueberry bagel and it was an average bagel. The barista was very kind, however, but I do not find a coffee shop that I am critical of very often, so I felt the need to share my experience with others.
This has become my new favorite coffee stop! Jon makes a great breve and the food is always great. I have yet to try the pho but I can't wait to. Great hospitality around and never too busy either.
Outdated milk chunks floating in my coffee and employee argued that there was nothing wrong with that as she was picking trash off the floor and preparing more food without washing her hands.
Food and drinks are great, service is awful. I'm speaking mainly of the young dark-haired girl that works behind the counter... She has a poor attitude and acts awkwardly around guests. Jon, the manager, is a really nice guy so I have no idea why he doesn't just get rid of her altogether. My family and I rented out the place for one evening and we asked the girl for silverware and she responded by saying that they didn't have any. I thought, how does a restaurant not have any silverware? After looking in the store we ended up finding silverware where it normally would be. The manager should really consider hiring someone else who actually knows decent customer service; maybe then I'll consider returning.
