I will have to try one of the specialty burgers on my next visit but as for my most recent experience, I recommend getting a Five Guys burger if you simply want a good classic burger. Five Guys is half the cost and more flavorful. Get your sweet potato tots though from Burger Republic.
The restaurant was completely packed during my visit with the waiting area in front of the hostess station being completely full of patrons waiting for an available table. I took this as an indication that the food and service was great.
I'm giving three stars because the service last night was pretty good--and I got food poisoning this morning. I ordered the farm burger and asked it to be cooked medium well, I got it well done. Was expecting a bigger portion due to the price. The tater tot fondue was amazing and I preferred it over the burger. Atmosphere was great and all the workers seemed pleasant. Would more than likely come back, but will order chicken instead.
Great atmosphere and good service. I had the 4 cheese garlic bacon burger with sweet potato tots and a spiked red velvet shake. It was all very enjoyable. My sister preferred my more expensive sweet tots to her normal, plain tots. She liked her Tennessee burger and spiked Reese's malt shake. Very good experience at a premium price. They have a few salad options, a few specialty sandwiches, any burger can be changed to chicken, turkey or veggie "burger". They have several special shakes regular and spiked. Enjoy!
Great shakes! Great burgers! Good atmosphere! Great service! They even have gluten free options and menu choices besides just burgers! What more could you ask for?!
The service was indeed good. I ordered the Classic burger and sweet potato tots to go. The bartenders were busy but taking reasonably prompt and good care of their customers. The burger was indeed a classic burger with nothing really unique or special about it. The tots by contrast were fantastic! These were hands down the best sweet potato tots I have ever had. The tots almost make up for the $16 and change price tag (price includes gratuity).
Went in for a late lunch and had no problem being seated quickly. The burger was OK, from the awards that they claim to have won, I was expecting one of the best I'd ever eaten. Far from it. It was cooked correctly and tasted fine, it's just nothing to get excited about, and I was expecting better for the money paid. They do have a good craft beer selection with ones that you normally can't find other places, but once again, you pay too much money for what you get. I ordered one of the higher end beers and it comes in one of those brandy sniffer looking glasses, about 6-8 ounces. Get the bill, that was an $8 beer. If I had realized that I was going to pay that kind of money for some kind of hipster experience, I would have gone somewhere else, gotten a meal that was just as good or better, and paid less money.
