Great hotel. Easy access off freeway. Very nice, full breakfast, clean rooms. Only complaint is rooms off the atrium are loud with kids playing till after midnight. Great price. Friendly staff.
Clean and comfortable room, although dated. Be aware interior and exterior rooms are both available, but at different prices. If you book a discounted room on a website, you will likely get an exterior room and need to walk through the cold outdoors to get to the heated pool. We instead chose to "upgrade" to an interior room for an extra $15. The pool area needs more supervision, as parents apparently get a room and let kids have a swimming party and ignore the rules. Management responded in about 20 minutes when I reported 8 unsupervised small children doing cannon balls in the hot tub followed by the pool followed by the hot tub again, etc., but the second the manager left they were doing it again. I did bring this to management's attention again this morning. When we left, two of the same kids (maybe aeound 10 years old?) were in the pool with no adult in the pool enclosure at all.
Literally the only thing good is the breakfast. I only stay here because I have to for work. The maids clearly couldn't care less about doing their job of....I don't know.... cleaning? I could have knitted a sweater out of the amount of hair that was in my room. Pee on the toilet seat. Used soap bottles in the shower....come on at least make it LOOK like you cleaned it. You literally didn't even try...the only thing it doesn't have to make this place totally suck is, they don't have roaches, they're good in that department. Two stars for a great breakfast because you know, it's the most important meal of the day.
This hotel should not be rated 3 stars. The main space indoors is nice, but many rooms (including the one we had) open outdoors, with poor doors. The door to our room had gaps all around it, which let cold air in all night. The heater in the room, which also seemed ancient, was not able to warm the room enough for us to sleep well. We froze, and they only had a thin blanket on the beds. Additionally, the rooms are small, crowded, and dirty. The floor of the bathroom had dirt and dead insects on it, I found cereal between my sheets when I got into bed, and the curtains were grimy. Finally, the staff were unenthusiastic, never welcoming us, asking how our stay was going, or whether we needed anything. Truly, the only thing that was enjoyable about our stay was the breakfast in the morning. I don't suggest staying at this hotel and I suggest the hotel be rated lower.
Well first of all, I didn't get the room that I reserved and paid for online. All the hallways smelled like smoke. My mini refrigerator door wouldn't stay shut, I had to block it shut with my suitcase. There were paint splatters on the carpet. On of the cupboard doors was off. The Kleenex box was empty and one of the soaps was open. My bed was really comfortable though. Then the next day they were running out of breakfast. There was a couple of groups that stayed that night, a dance group and a basketball team but they should have been aware of how many guests they had and been able to accommodate us.
