To anyone looking to get a good night's rest DO NOT for any reason check into this Crap @$$ motel!!!! So first off when I checked in I unpacked my stuff and went to sleep then I got woke up by the office calling me early in the morning saying that they gave me a reserved room & I needed to come to the office. So I got up to get dressed and they called me again in like 2 minutes and told me that i had to move rooms. The room they gave me the front door don't lock at all, the tv was crappy, the WiFi works better outside than in the room, I found a few roaches crawling around & not to mention my girlfriend stepped on a used condom in the parking lot Also they are undergoing remodeling or something (by the way there was no warning of any kind) and all I hear and feel when I try to get some sleep is drilling and hammers slamming the crap out of everything but to top it off it cost 539$ every two weeks here. Moral of the story is if you hate yourself and want to be miserable visit The Jackson Motel.

Place was filthy paint in sink cockroaches everywhere.place stunk of mold floors filthy for 72.00 a night they should be charged for false advertising and letting dope dealers deal out of their rooms.And in the parking lot sets A BAD example for people coming thru mboro.the mgr name is sonny mention any of this to him and see foryourself the answer you get it's disgusting
Front desk lady was nice and the room wasn't horrible. Sister and I booked a room through booking.com for two nights. Hotel is outdated and a little old. Seemed pretty clean, we still disinfected everything with wipes and spray. We booked a king size bed which was as firm as a rock, clean sheets and pillows. Room had a soft hint of old cigarette and felt very lived in. Again wasn't horrible for the price of 65$ and night for two.
The Jackson is difficult to describe in positive terms. The rooms had bedspreads that were lumpy, air conditioning unit that was incredibly noisy, one handle of the faucet was missing. But I felt safe. As long as I kept to myself and stayed quiet, I could do what I need to do and get on with my business. It was not the best experience, but not the worst I've felt less safe in nicer places
