First booked Online....then had to re-book over the phone.....We were NEVER told construction was going on. As it turned out....the construction did not interfere with us because we were gone during the day....just messes, but controlled messes. No danger to anyone! Housekeeping, Kimberly was excellent in making sure we had what we needed during our stay....she made the visit much more comfortable for us. Bed was very comfortable and clean....room temp perfect! A closet would have been nice!! A fridge and microwave, table and chairs was needed and very much appreciated. Wifi worked with no problems, plenty of hot water....bigger and thicker towels would have been nice. Parking really needs to be upgraded. Staff was perfect!! Doing the best they can with what they have and all is going on. Clean room, comfortable bed, hot water, controlled temp....and we were allowed to have our pet with us. Yes, we would stay there again!
Looking at the clientele this motel attracted, I was afraid to leave valuables in my room while I stepped away to get dinner.
Additionally the exterior looked like a war zone. Construction debris strewn about.
We’ve been here for a week and it’s so nice!! House Keeping is Awesome!! These ladies washed our dishes, folded and put away our clothes and so on!! I was so shocked when I walked into our room after a long day at work..The rooms are cute and clean!!! Shower is awesome!!! NO BUGS!!! I’ve slept very well my entire stay..Front desk employees are so nice!! Thanks to the entire staff for making our stay so cozy!!!! 5 Stars!!!!!
"Bait and Switch'! Was quoted a "Total" price of $44.99, online. Upon arrival, I was told that that was the subtotal and I was charged an additional $7.75. I showed proof via online reservation but the management told me to “take it up with the national company”.
I booked this hotel specifically because it had coin laundry. I’m on the road working and needed the convenience of just doing my laundry near my room without having to go anywhere. I got there and they said it was out of order and I couldn’t afford to go to another hotel in the area. The hotels nearby didn’t have that amenity anyway so I stayed. I had to drive 10 miles to a laundromat ... waste an hr there getting my laundry done and drive 10 miles back. The place is going under renovation so I had a blast over the weekend hearing construction. The construction workers also camped outside of my door from morning until the evening as if it were the new designated break room. Imagine how intimidating that was for me as woman traveling alone. I wasn’t discounted anything... I wasn’t given a gift card for the inconvenience.... I wasn’t offered a free night at another location... nothing. They don’t care at all about their customers.
Due to this experience, I WILL NOT stay in another Motel 6. I have cancelled my future reservations! (Cancellation #608XA05543). Saving money isn’t worth it if you feel unsafe!
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I usually stay at a Motel 6 when I travel because they are pet friendly and don't charge for that. The location here is disgusting. My son and I walked into the first room and roaches scattered. There was something spilled on one of the blankets and there was actual feces on the bathroom wall next to the toilet. I was too tired to try to get a refund, so I went to the office for a different room. The guy assured me he was putting me in a "good room", but it was obvious that the beds sheets had not been changed from the last guests. At least there were no roaches. We slept fully dressed and used our own pillows, but I didn't sleep well because I was scared that a bug might crawl in bed with me during the night. The people hanging out in the parking lot were very sketchy too. I could have spent about $20 more down the highway and had a way better experience. Do not stay there, you will be mad as hell and want your money back too. I didn't even want my dog to lay on the floor.
The room was clean, but damage to door frames and stains on walls and floors.
