Service is great, prices are a bit high, chicken is alright but not to my specific taste. I would prefer more seasoned bird and slightly lower prices. The Champy's dipping sauce is pretty good and worth a try. If you're in the mood for fried food they got you covered.
Love this place! One of my new favorites. I don't know what they batter there chicken in, but it's amazing. They have a good bar selection and a lot of beers.
Not impressible first of all it was not busy whatsoever there may have been 2 cars in the parking lot yet it took about half an hour to get our meal there were people that came in after us that got their meal before we did. I ordered the chicken livers Before I even ordered them I specifically said to the waitress that I cannot eat them if they're hard, now anyone that eats chicken livers knows that when they are hard they are absolutely horrible And the server said oh no they're really really good everybody orders them. Because it was taking so long for us to get our food The waitress did bring us a plate of the hot tamales because our food was taking so long and that was a nice gesture I have to admit but when the chicken livers came out they were so incredibly hard that I could not even eat them. the waitress of course took them back and asked me if I wanted her to have some more cooked I really did want to taste how they tasted so I told her OK. When she bought the 2nd batch of chicken livers out you could clearly see that there was a difference in them and they were not fried hard but it was about half of the amount that was on my 1st plate. Again I question the waitress about it and she said the first batch look like it's more because the 1st ones were put on top of bread but I told her, that the 2nd ones were put on bread too and it was clearly a difference in the amount that I received yet still paid the same price. My niece and I just randomly pick this place to eat because we were tired of eating at the same old places but I don't think that this will be a place that I would frequent again Which is sad because the atmosphere seems to be really nice.
I was optimistic when I walked in... Great atmosphere. Polite device. Then the prices came into play.... Kinda pricey. my husband and I ordered the same thing paying extra for fries his plate came loaded and mine was much more bare. The manager thought he had a breast and mine a thigh. He literally said I'll have what she's having when ordering. They did fix it by bringing more chicken, but I think this place is a joke. The food wasn't even that great.
It was good. The slaw was incredible. The chicken tenders were huge. It's a decent place to get some comfort food. I'm a fan of local restaurants so I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
