Visiting TN and had a Hawaiian and a Hot Chicken pizza delivered. They arrived fast, hot, and had great flavor! The Hawaiian had almond sliced and cinnamon which was really unique.
I saw this place on undercover boss. I never heard of them until then. The pizza is great. I ordered the three cheese and sausage pizza. It was great. I know great pizza and this is very good. My favorite pizza is NJ, NYC pizza and this is also very good. It’s much better than the other chains.
I ate at Donatos for the first time today with my girlfriend and her 6 year old son. I ordered a meatball sub, and my girlfriend ordered a pizza for her and her son. My sandwich came out, but no pizza. I waited a few minutes, but didn't want my sandwich to get cold, so I went ahead and ate it. I got done and still no pizza. Then the lady came out from the kitchen with a pizza. She explained that it wasn't what we had ordered and that there had been a mixup in the kitchen and that it would be a little longer before our pizza was ready, but she brought the other pizza out because she was afraid the boy might be hungry. It's this kind of customer service that is, sadly, rare nowadays. It was a wonderful gesture by this nice lady, and because of that, I'll be sure to return to eat there again.
Ordered online from Donatos for the first time today. Got a meatball sub, a ham & provolone sub & a large triple classic pizza (pepperoni, Italian sausage & mushroom). Pizza was decent but nothing special. We've tasted better. Our sub sandwiches were both skimpy on the fillings, with the meatball sub being mostly sauce & bread and the ham & provolone mostly lettuce & bread. Very little ham or provolone cheese there at all. Guess we expected more for a $6.00 sandwich. This will be the first & last time we order from Donatos. We spent $34.00 on the food, $40.00 with tip and definitely didn't get our money's worth.
This is our second visit here, and my family loves it. The thin crust pizza is yummy as are the Italian bread sticks with marinara. The hubs also thoroughly enjoyed his wings with the hot chicken dry rub. And, the service was great both times...smiling faces and friendly people.
