My family and I visit Fulin's pretty often and the food (particularly the sushi) is always satisfactory. The staff is pretty friendly but sometimes I feel like I am being rushed to leave the restaurant. There is one waiter in particular who asks us if we're finished and if we want our check... it rubs me the wrong way for sure. Another thing that irks me is when the waiters are trying to get dirty dishes out of the way. Sometimes they'll bring the dirty dish cart RIGHT next to a guest table where they're sitting and make so much noise with the dishes. It's a minor annoyance but I just thought I would put that out there. Other than that, I like Fulin's and we have plans to go again soon.
I'm completely shocked that this place has any positive reviews at all. The "lettuce wraps" are garbage can chicken with peas and carrots. Nothing is good.
Unfortunately, my experience here has urged me to share the unprofessionalism of this restaurant. My family ordered the Peking duck which we were unfortunately served just the skin of a duck. Our server admitted to taking the meat out to make other dishes and making a double profit. He also admitted that other traditional Chinese restaurants are more “professional” and serve the proper amount of duck for the proper price. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
This place is the BEST!!!! Best dumplings, light not heavy like some other places. The Godzilla Roll was really good, so was the Mu Shu Pork. The fried rice was light and fluffy, not sticky at all. Oh and the sweet tea was perfect not overly sweet like some places. Plus I got a good fortune in my cookie at the end! We got a whole lot of food with two plates to take home and only spent 54$ before the tip. Defiantly a place worth trying!!!!
We stopped by here in the middle of a 14 hour trip. The food is very good, and the staff are extremely prompt and nice. I would highly suggest ordering from the "house specials " menu. All of the dishes were seasoned very well. I'm only sad that this place is not closer to us!
