We love shopping here! My husband and I have both been fitted multiple times for running shoes and have been 100% satisfied with the shoes they recommended. I am new to running and they helped me get fitted for a bra and shoes. My husband has been running for years and has now run multiple marathons and half marathons. I basically know just to head to Fleet Feet for all of his birthday and Christmas gifts! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the store is clean and well organized, and their community runs are super fun!
They sell your standard fare of shoes. Nike, Asics, Mizuno, Saucony, etc. Not a lot on the side of clothes. In general, the store is small with limited selection. They do have pretty fair sales occasionally (I went today and got BOGO 50%), which is nice.
Demetria was so helpful. I have been struggling with shin splints recently and figured it was time for new shoes. She looked at the wear pattern on my old shoes and was able to tell what shoes would benefit me. She brought out several shoes for me to try and listened as I explained what I liked and didn't like about each shoe. She then brought out a few more to try and I found 2 pair that I think will help me. Demetria actually listened and was so knowledgeable about the shoes, she knew which ones would eliminate some of the discomforts I felt. I was so impressed and will definitely return.
However, my biggest qualm with this establishment is the fact that it feels like I’m walking into a car dealership. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately hounded by employees trying to get me to buy their merchandise. It was offsetting. Don’t get me wrong, some of the employees are very nice and friendly, but the whole vibe turned me off a bit.
When it comes to shoe fitting/guidance, I think it really depends on who you get. I have had employees who offer little explanation as to why I should choose the $120 pair of shoes, and other who can reasonably explain.
Great customer service. Friendly service. Prices are comparable to online prices, but the value you get from the staff is worth so much more. I have been getting my shoes from here for years!
I love the knowledge of the staff. My information is saved so they know what shies I bought last and which inserts fit me best. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
