Wonderful people! My pets were treated great. I have an elderly dog and blind cat and they have cared for them wonderfully! Would definitely recommend this clinic!

Rescued my pup from irresponsible breeder who took her to a banfield in Clarksville before we got her. Were told that they had shot records on file of her and we just needed his name for the records. All was fine until we try to get her fixed last month and they can't do it without the breeders permission (even though he doesn't own her and hasn't for a long time) to view the shot records to be sure she's had all of them? It's ridiculous. So now I have to give my 7 month old pup all of her rounds of shots AGAIN so that I can get her fixed.

They take really good care of my pets there

We had our first and last visit to this pet clinic today. We adopted two kittens from Petsmart on Saturday and we were given a coupon for a free exam and consultation at Banfield pet Hospital for each of them. We took the kittens today for their visit and we were told at the end of the visit that we would have to pay for one of the kittens' visit. I explained to them that we had the two coupons for the free exams that we were given at the time of the adoption and it was supposed to be free. The vet assistant said "This happens all the time" and she informed me that it was their policy to only allow one coupon per family. I said that this was not what we were told when we adopted them. I also asked her if we adopted the kittens six months apart would the visits be covered? She said "yes". I then asked if We adopted the kittens a month apart would the visits be covered? She said "yes". So I pursued and said what about a day apart would the visits be covered? She said "yes". I said it did not make sense that if they were covered a day, a month, or six months apart why would they not be covered when the kittens were adopted the same day. She said that she did not understand it either but that's the way it was. She went out a couple times to talk to someone but each time came back and said we would have to pay. I told her that was not acceptable and asked to speak to a supervisor. She said her supervisor was not at the clinic. I asked if she could call her and she said "no". So then I asked if I could reach her tomorrow. The assistant told me " I don't know her schedule, I only know mine". She told me that if I did not pay today that I will be turned over to collections. I said I did not feel that I should be charged for something I was told would be free. I was never told when I made the appointments at the time of the adaption or when we checked in that only one coupon could be applied per family. The coupon itself says only one coupon per person for new pets. It does not say anything about limiting it to one per family. My daughter was in the room with me and my husband Came by before the visit was over. So we had three people and two coupons. It should have been allowed. This is a typical bait and switch and it is not right. I will try to reach the manager tomorrow

My family started using Banfield when we could no longer afford the local veterinary office we had been using for 19 years prior. In our experience, purchasing one of the Banfield yearly pet care plans has provided us with peace of mind & expense control. The Banfield plan is MUCH less expensive than what we were paying at our previous vet's. I really like knowing that, even on vacation, my dog can receive vet care by knowledgeable staff who have access to her medical records. Owning a pet IS expensive. It's more of a "luxury" now-----much more difficult financially than when I rescued my first dog.
