I brought my cat in a soft-sided carrier, which had a zipper door on either side, and a zipper top, so it wouldn't be any problem getting her out for her checkup. I almost had her out, but when the vet came in, the assistant decided to take over getting her out of the carrier while the vet and I spoke. I looked away for a moment while we were talking, and the next thing I know, assistant has the carrier upside-down, literally shaking it to get my cat out! Poor girl is timid by nature, the extra ton of stress, being shaken up and falling to the floor, was completely unnecessary. The vet wasn't very friendly either. Would not recommend.
I have been taking my dogs to Indian Hills for a few years now, after jumping from vet to vet. I couldn't find anyone who could truly treat my dogs properly. Dr. Watlington is the best vet I've ever worked with. He's professional, friendly, and tells you upfront what's going on. The facility is clean, the staff is helpful, and the pricing is fair. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.
I've used this vet for 2.5 years and I enjoy them. The facility is open and clean. Staff is friendly and takes their time and are flexible. I also use their grooming and have been very pleased. They have a HUGE cat that'll greet you and lies quietly on their welcome desk. I love going for that alone
