Great, warm feeling and you can tell they really care about the people who live there. Nobody is just a number and that is hard to find in health care today.
True leaders set the tone and direction for a team and having observed the leadership style and actions of Ms. Johnson, I can easily see why her staff is so motivated and caring in their attention to residents. A team is only as good as it's weakest member, so Ms. Johnson makes continuous training an important part of her regular agenda and that training shows; even to the untrained eye.
The two one star reviews are from the same girl. I assume she had something missing from her or her loved ones to make such a review. Every time I have had interactions with the staff and others at this location I have been very happy with the response and care I've seen with my loved one. Highly recommend.
This place is a joke! If you consider waking people up all hours of the night to take showers on third shift so first doesn't have to do it, employees taking 30 min smoke breaks every two hours "quality care" then sure it's a wonderful place to have a loved one. the "memory care" ha it's a joke the employees don't care if they are being properly cared for they only care that they are sitting and being quite. I'm surprised its still open!
So I guess my last review got reported so I'll clean it up a little bit. If you want your loved ones in a facility where belongings and medications don't come up missing, stay away from this criminal infested place.
Over the last five years, my wife and I have made numerous visits to the Broadmore Senior Living facility to attend resident events and to support staff created efforts to enrich the lives and happiness of their residents. Under the leadership of Ms. Vonda Johnson, the facility was transformed from a run of the mill assisted living facility into a bright, vibrant and enjoyable environment for the residents. But what has impressed me the most, has been the level and quality of interaction between staff members and residents. Having visited nursing homes in which residents spent hours alone, without any staff interaction at all, the Broadmore Senior Living staff members outdo themselves in making sure that all the residents get specialized attention.
My wife and I highly recommend Broadmore Senior Living in Murfreesboro to those searching for a group of professionals who will provide care, support, encouragement and a nurturing environment for their loved one.
