I like the original location better than the new location. The staff are very personable and remember their customers.
This is a great place for tires and free flat repairs. You get free balance and rotation for the life of the tire and a cheap road guarantee.
Steve the General Manager ( look for Mr. Clean lol ) and Eric at the desk were great. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff here that you can trust with your tire needs. The new location is awesome with plenty of room to relax while your vehicle is in the shop. I highly recommend this location if you are in Murfreesboro or the surrounding areas.
Discount tires on Old Fort Pkwy really impressed me today. Thaddeus gave me an extremely fair price to swap over some tires I needed swapped out. He was friendly and quick to help me. When I watched the young men through the window working on my vehicle they were literally "running" around and looked like a NASCAR pit crew. These young men were hard workers and had a fantastic attitude! I can tell you this - I'm a stickler for customer service - and in todays world it's a very rare treat to get the kind of customer service I received at the Discount Tire on Old Fort Pkwy today. My hat's off to them and though they didn't make a ton of money off of me today they just won a customer for life. 5 stars all around. By the way - whoever owns that store - Thaddeus and those young guys all need to be given a raises. You want to keep good help like that. It will pay off in the end!
Dropped off two wheels from our trailer to get new tires put on. Talked to an employee who did help take the wheels in. Told him we were going to run some errands and come back. Returned later today to find out nothing had been done. No one wrote up the work order. So they did the two simple trailer tires while we waited. Two $50 tires turned out to be about $160 after they tacked on some crazy $20 per tire fee...for trailer tires.. $50 tires. Would not recommend this old location on Old Fort Pkwy next to Thorntons.
Good fast service, clean restroom and free water and coffee.
But if it's cold weather, I declare they slightly underinflate my tires and your check pressure light might come on. I usually air my own tires anyway now I do it more!
