the customer service seems like they're in a hurry to get home. most of the time i have to go to the shoe dpt to get clothes checked out. associates are snarky and make rude comments, or are chatting with their friends when they're supposed to be working. walked up to a register in the misses section only to find out 10 mins later after waiting in line that her register was closed.
I came to buy several expensive items but other stores carry them. The nice salesperson was alone in the shoe department waiting on several customers at one time!
There are some great sales here! Employees are friendly and the variety is great!
We could over look the disarray as this is Black Friday weekend. But considering we went Sunday afternoon things should have been in better order. But the entire experience was POOR. There were signs indicating sale prices. They DID NOT indicated it was a Black Friday sales. Yet at check out the items were no longer on sale. In fact THE ONLY sale person who acknowledged us indicted a rack of women pea style coats were 19.99 as per the sign. At check out in the shoe area that sales woman said it rang up 69.00 with 40%. The shoe sales woman also told us some boots regular 109.99 were 49.99, but when she rang them up they were $69.99. Again she would not honor the price she gave us or indicated on the sign. We also had questions on items and location of items as it was our 1st time at this locations. Sales people very hard to find. We had a bad, bad experience for shopping at a Belks.
I would rate lower but there is not a choice below this star. I cannot believe your lack of employees on a Friday night and the inefficiency of the ones ( 3..... 2 were just talking to each other). ..... I rarely am able to shop since I am confined to bed.
Great service...easy to do exchanges and returns!
