My husband and I went to CareNow on a Sunday-where the day before we had been with my mother, brother, and father. My husband had been having congestive issues-the cough, gook, sneezing, stuffed up nose, etc. The doctor came in and “assessed” him. Which apparently is asking about his symptoms and checking his ears. He said it was bronchitis, prescribed an antibiotic and cough medicine. And that was it.
Super friendly staff and minimal waiting time.
Felt terrible all weekend and finally decided to go in Sunday morning. Thank goodness they are open so early! Professional and friendly staff got me in and out with hardly a wait at all. Got an antibiotic filled at my pharmacy quickly and feel 100 times better today. The office even called and left a voicemail to check up on me today.
HORRIBLE PLACE! They were called 2 times to be informed that the over the counter medicine they were wanting my GF to take was not working the first time they said to try something else...still didn’t work! The 2nd time the lady in the office said that she would relay the message to the Dr and that when she found out what meds could be prescribed she would call back...well it’s not 8:40pm and never received a call even after they were called a 2nd time today to be reminded!! This place is a joke and would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!
The woman at the front desk was amazing and helpful. She was very kind and funny! The nurse that took my tests and vitals was great to talk to and she was so caring. The staff here was so friendly to me!! The wait time was supposed to be 2 hours but it was only 30 minutes! Awesome staff!!
Fast forward to Wednesday, my brother, mother and father have all now tested positive for flu and my husband is now nauseous, achy and no better. I call the clinic to see what we could do (and to avoid being charged $75 to just walk in again) to which I’m told because his symptoms did not alert to the flu-he would need to come back in. OR HE COULD JUST WAIT IT OUT A COUPLE OF DAYS. The front desk said the antibiotic did not have a chance to work (it’s been 4 days?). Even after admitting that if he did infact have the flu, it would be no help???? Will not go back!!!!!!!!
