Non-professional staff. They put them selves above the pacient. My lens percription was less then my exam results. The following week i turn my glasses for correction. 8 days later i receive a phone call informing me my glasses are ready. I showed up the following day at 4:49pm, and found the optics department staff left early that day. The other stafe members refused to open a draw to provide me my glasses. My work scheduel is the same as there office hours wich greatly limits when i am able to pic up my glasses.
Very friendly people only because they want your money. They will give you the impression that everything is taken care of and your insurance will cover it when in fact they will pay little to nothing at all. That is partly due to the fact that they use procedures not covered by your insurance. Heaven forbid you are referred to them so they can charge you their "emergency fee". They will not inform you of ridiculous charges and are not flexible on price/payments at all. I was also left sitting in an exam room for nearly two hours and had to stick my head out the door because I thought they forgot I was in there. Stay away from this place. I wouldn't seek help here if they were the only eye doctor around and I was missing an eyeball.
The Dr. that seen me was great. Sad part is he is leaving next week. But no one told me that there would be an extra 35.00 charge when you check out for a "retraction"!! So my advise is see another doctor that doesn't charge you this hidden charge!
I was impressed with the comfort of waiting area, of how quickly I was called back. the experience was not painful, was well explained, Dr. Haley saw me and was thorough and explained every detail to me. I have my yearly visit already scheduled for next year. I highly recommend the McCabe Vision Center. Awesome.
I've been going to Dr. McCabe of a little over 4 years now. I've had my cataracts down in both eyes and am very happy how things came out. He has also been treating me for clock coma, I have been very well treated at his office by every one, very friendly, the office is clean. I do highly recommend Dr. Craig McCabe
