I have been a patient for almost 2yrs, never met Dr. Hancock, always see the NP who has a lovely bedside manner. I was seen last Dec. and charged a full office visit, after speaking to the ins., Found out the billing department used the wrong code. Several months later and several calls, including my insurance contacting them directly- never resolved. Next visit the front office demanded that I pay it before I was seen. I was out of my thyroid medication so I paid it, but told her that I would probably look for another doctor. Front office said, "so you want to be discharged after today?" She had also said, "I am just the messenger, our billing is handled through another office." Obviously they could care less about the patient. Very disappointed.
I'm very sorry if you have to go to this place...you're not gong to have a good experience. The front desk lady has a severe attitude problem. She's very unfriendly, unprofessional, and clearly doesn't like her job. It's hard to understand why they keep her in that position. And , if you make it through the front desk experience without leaving, don't be surprised when you don't get to meet Dr Hancock. They also send you back to the front desk to make your next appointment...good luck with that.
I love this office from the front desk to the doctor to the medical staff all absolutely wonderful people I walk-in nervous not sure what I'm going to hear and I walk out happy as a lark dr. Hancock you have a number one office here the best of the best I see Dr. Holt when I come and Helen and I just love them both
The staff likes for people to show up on time. They have always been extremely polite and for follow up appointments it takes a long time because this is a special office strictly for endocrine and diabetes which is 2 of the most common diseases in Americans. I got to see Dr. Hancock and I firmly believe he is one of the best doctors all in all. He was extremely polite and thorough in is research. He knows a lot and an intelligent man and will help you if you want to be helped. He helped me 100 percent. I recommend him for anyone who has thyroid disease.
We really like it here. We've only seen Ms.Holt which I'm completely fine with becasue she is completely down to earth, can understand what she is doing, and very caring. She talks to you like you a person. Also we've had a few instances where we've had to use the on-call nurse which transfered us to the doctor who was on call. We've always had a issues resolved, and it's a great peace of mind knowing that he has a caring doctor.
